James Brown, Head of Client Services – Compeer

James joined Compeer in October 2006 as an analyst following his graduation from The University of Warwick, where he studied Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics.  Today he manages Compeer’s team of analysts. He has widely presented key trends in the UK Wealth Management Industry, with in-depth experience of providing statistical analysis of firms’ business performance. He regularly provides recommendations during presentations to Executive boards, and is actively involved in bespoke research projects.

Dr Greg B Davies, Oxford Risk

Greg is a specialist in applied behavioural finance, decision science, responsible investing, and financial wellbeing.

He founded the banking world’s first behavioural finance team at Barclays in 2006, which he led for a decade.

In 2017 he joined Oxford Risk to lead the development of behavioural software to help people make the best possible financial decisions.

Greg holds a PhD in Behavioural Decision Theory from Cambridge; has held academic affiliations at UCL, Imperial, and Oxford; and is author of Behavioral Investment Management.

Greg is also Chair of Sound and Music, the UK’s national charity for new music; and creator of Open Outcry, a ‘reality opera’ premiered in London in 2012, creating live performance from a functioning trading floor.

Charles Sincock, ESG Lead – Capco

Charles leads the UK ESG capability and sits on the global ESG leadership team.  Previously he worked in Western European Private Equity funds covering general industrials, Financial Services, green infrastructure and ESG renewables.

Formerly he worked in Corporate Finance at Dresdner Kleinwort and Bank of America.

Charles has covered many major programmes and initiatives while working at Capco, including new platform creation, sustainability global oversight and digital integration and cost-saving initiatives. Of note, Charles led the creation of a global green playbook for a major universal bank, has developed a proprietary ESG Data architecture and works closely with ESG Data vendors amongst other sustainability initiatives.

AJ Singh, Sustainable Investment Strategist – Quintet Private Bank

AJ Singh is the Sustainable Investing Strategist at Quintet Private Bank working in the CIO office. He has several years’ experience in multi asset investing, focusing on sustainability, having worked for various investment banks in the City of London. He works with global investment teams in identifying drivers of long- term returns associated with ESG, integrating them throughout the investment processes and creating sustainable investment solutions for clients to achieve sustainable returns, across geographies and sectors.

Daryl Roxburgh, President and Global Head – BITA Risk

Daryl Roxburgh is President and Global Head of BITA Risk®, part of the corfinancialTM group, an award winning, innovative wealth management software firm. He leads the design of our BITA Wealth® application, which provides managers, investment and governance teams with valuable oversight and insight; enabling differentiation in a world that demands both consistency and customisation. Its modules include investor profiling (risk/suitability/ESG), portfolio management, and analytics, ESG management, and enterprise level portfolio monitoring.

Since 2018, he has focussed on our BITA Wealth ESG Manager that captures client ESG preferences, models ESG and Carbon exposures, checks for conflicts and provides interactive reporting and monitoring; helping private wealth managers deliver ESG aware investment solutions and reporting to their clients. It seamlessly integrates ESG into the daily private client investment and monitoring processes, ensuring that ESG is managed from both client preference and investment perspectives.

Prior to joining BITA Risk, Daryl held IT executive and director roles at Credit Suisse Asset Management, M&G and Prudential Portfolio Managers. He has contributed to various investment books, was a founder of the London Quant Group, and sits on the PIMFA Indices Committee and the PIMFA ESG Working Group.

Damian Payiatakis, Head of Sustainable & Impact Investing – Barclays

Damian leads Barclays’ efforts to guide individuals, families, and charities on how to invest both to protect and grow their assets and to make a positive contribution to our world.

For families and family offices, this includes advising on how to start investing their portfolios sustainably; as well as facilitating the challenging conversations that address the family dynamics on legacy, values, and decision-making.

His team advises the firm’s private and public market specialists on how to incorporate ethical, responsible and impact approaches into their products, portfolios, and services. As well, they have published original thought leadership on scaling social businesses, investor motivations for impact, and impact reporting.

He leads Barclays’ sponsorship of the launch of Impact Agora, a new global institutional investing platform which enables deal sharing between accelerators, fund managers, investor networks, corporates, family offices, foundations and wealth managers.

His team’s work has been recognised by the UK Cabinet Office and Investment Week’s Sustainable Investment Awards, as well as the UK National Advisory Board on Impact Investing.

Damian was part of the UK Government’s Taskforce on the topic and is a frequent commentator in publications such as Financial Times, CNN Money, Euromoney, Reuters, as well as a speaker & facilitator at impact investing conferences. His work as an intrapreneur has featured in Harvard Business Review.

Damian graduated from Brandeis University summa cum laude with Highest Honours. He also holds both a M.A. in International Economics & Finance from Brandeis International Business School and a M.Sc. in Organisational & Social Psychology from the London School of Economics.
