Alberto Cuccu – CEO & Chief Client Solution Officer, Objectway LTD

Having graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Pisa, Alberto Cuccu joined Objectway in 1999. He has since served Objectway in roles ranging from Technical Director to Chief Operating Officer, to his current positions as CEO and Chief Client Solution Officer of Objectway Ltd. In this role, he ensures the delivery of an effective value proposition to the market enabling maximum growth.

James Brown – Head of Client Services, Compeer

James joined Compeer in October 2006 as an Analyst following his graduation from The University of Warwick, where he studied Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics.

Today he manages Compeer’s team of Analysts. He has widely presented key trends in the UK Wealth Management Industry, with in-depth experience of providing statistical analysis of firms’ business performance. He regularly provides recommendations during presentations to Executive boards and is actively involved in bespoke research projects.

Mario Alves – Head of Sales & Partner Management, Aixigo

Mario Alves is a proven expert in retail and private banking, with a special focus on investment and advisory in MiFID related markets and products. His expertise combines frontline experiences as advisor and manager within several financial service institutions, as well as in-depth strategical and technological understanding gained as consultant and leader in advisory and software companies.

He has a ‘crush’ on needs-oriented sales and believes that Digital Wealth Management will become the new market standard. Building bridges between technology, business and people represents his passion.

Mario has been working with aixigo since 2012 and his focus is to accompany customers and partners in utilizing digitalisation within the investment business across all channels.

Andrew Grill

Suman Rao – Head of UK product management and Pre-Sales offering, Avaloq UK Ltd

Suman has more than 17 years’ experience in the wealth management technology and services space. A career built alongside the evolution of technology driven by opportunities and challenges faced by the wealth management sector. Extensive experience in bridging the gap between business, operations and vendor. Now Head UK product management and pre-sales offering at Avaloq UK Ltd., embracing agile and human-centred design thinking to deliver value to users.

A geek at heart, Suman holds an MBA and is experienced in new-logo hunting, product launches, new market entry, complex migration and implementation projects.

David Strydom – Head of Technology and Facilities, Raymond James UK

As Chief Technology Officer, David leads Raymond James’s long-term technology vision in the UK, and is responsible for the Technology Group and Facilities within the business. The Technology Group includes functions for IT Support, Infrastructure, Information Security, Business Continuity, Software Development and Programme Delivery.

David relocated from South Africa to London, where he started as an engineer for a specialised managed service provider that supported blue chip companies across the UK. David joined Raymond James in 2009 working in a variety of IT roles, laterally and vertically. He has participated in the design and implementation of the infrastructure, business continuity plans, business applications and workflows.

Stephen Green – Head of Digital Strategy, Equiniti Group plc

Stephen Green is Head of Digital Strategy at Equiniti Group plc. Leading multi-disciplinary teams who apply the latest approaches to rapid digital product development, journey mapping and content design to improve customer facing service and platform systems.

Stephen interests and work spans existing platform and cutting edge technology in cognitive knowledge systems, augmented reality and data visualisation.

With a background in Retail and global ecommerce, Stephen brings a wealth of experience in Customer experience to the wealth and Finance sector and is very excited about the future of the industry.

Mark Cadby – Chief Technology Officer, Tiller Investments

Mark is CTO of Tiller and leads the engineering and platform developer teams. He has 30 years’ technology experience working in both project management and IT management roles for international financial institutions, software houses and as an independent consultant. He led the transformation of Ermitage Group’s in-house product into a marketable external systems service offering and was responsible for several large application integrations for Standard Bank (Jersey) Limited.

Eric Moe – Chief Operating Officer, Whitefoord LLP

Eric is the Chief Operating Officer of Whitefoord LLP, and is responsible for Operations, Information Technology and Operational Risk Management within the firm. In his role, he constantly looks for opportunities to align technology initiatives with business goals in an environment of constant regulatory and industry change.

He enjoyed 12 years as a global IT Director before transitioning to the Wealth Management sector. He is an avid technologist, and never one to be without the latest gadget!  Out of hours, he enjoys water sports and outdoor pursuits.
